On account of Save our Earth Week and  World Earth Day Celebration, students planted saplings in school premises. School Director Sr. Devotia CMC, Principal Sr. Elize CMC and LP - Headmistress Sr. Treesa Mary CMC planted saplings. Principal Sr. Elize distributed 1000 saplings to the students and urged them to plant it in their home.  Eco club co-ordinator Ashokakumar K P organised one-tree for one-class programme on the same day

Vimala believes that by investing in the competence of teachers, we invest in the future of our children.  The school marked a pious beginning on June 06, 2019. The chief guest Rev. Fr. Joseph Mackollil, Vicar, Vijnanamatha Church rendered the inaugural blessing. New teachers and sisters were introduced to the gathering. New students were welcomed with sweets and flowers by the Principal Sr. Elize CMC and Director Sr. Visitation CMC.   ‘Health for justice, justice for health’ roared the students of Vimala through the road when they organized a mass rally on 26 June, 2019. Roller skating champions lead the rally followed by students in bicycle and marching – underlining the importance of a holistic approach involving health, human rights, criminal justice and social service areas.
